Pure Beauty Australia is excited to announce it has merged with The Six Senses NZ to create The Six Senses Group Pty Ltd.
The CEO of the new international beauty group is Miranda Waple, who has 24 years of experience as a consultant and senior executive with L’Oréal. She has worked in skincare and developed perfume in France, New Zealand and Australia.
With staff across four Australasian cities the merged entity will devote more resources to marketing to support sales for retail partners hit hard by Coronavirus.
“The Six Senses will be a house of brands. Our focus is on a tight range of products that work extremely well and stimulate the senses. The sixth sense is, of course, emotion, which is stirred when sight, scent, sound, taste, or touch are stimulated," said Waple.
Current brands represented by The Six Senses Group Pty Ltd include Karen Walker fragrance, skincare brands Handsome, Blessed By Nature, Benamor since 1925, and Rito Cook Islands, while also acting as sales agent for Ethique and Evolu. It is possible that other brands will be added to this stable.
“Each of the brands we represent has been chosen for its polysensoriality: the look and feel of the formulation’s texture, how it feels when sinking into the skin, the sound the pump makes when you press to release the fragrance or the click of the lid, how it makes you feel; how the scent triggers memories. The consumer experience is pleasurable thanks to the stimulation of senses”, explains Waple.
“Our brands make you feel happy when you use them. The brands offer value, are unpretentious, have a bias to natural but are always effective and celebrate unique local ingredients and heritage. We believe great products need not cost the earth, so always consider our impact on the planet.”
The merger strengthens the two companies. “Together we are stronger,” said Waple. “We’ve got the right people with an unequivocal commitment to marketing, to build stronger, more visible brands and increase revenue and give better service to our retailers. We treasure our people, our customers, our consumers and our suppliers.”
