Beauty giant launches first national TV campaign

Online beauty retailer, Adore Beauty has launched its first national TV campaign, titled 'Whatever Makes You, You.'

The 30 second TV commercial comes off the back of a successful period for the e-commerce site, with month-on-month growth.

As BD reported here, Adore Beauty has seen significant category sales as well, including 112 per cent growth for skincare tools, 105 per cent growth for home fragrance and 45 per cent growth for its recently launched sex category, set to push it past its projected $100 million revenue for the financial year.

True to the brand's ethos, the TVC features two members of the Adore Beauty team, head of campaign and strategy, Shanthi Murugan and brand and content manager, Hannah Furst, and explores the quirky, fun and very real side of beauty, and what makes people feel good.

“I’ve always believed that beauty should be something that makes you feel your best, and that feeling should be accessible to everyone. This ad embraces real women and whatever makes them feel good,” said Adore Beauty CEO and founder, Kate Morris.

The commercial was turned around in just over a week and is set to air across channel Seven, Nine and Ten nationally from May 12.
